Annual Generator Tune-Up Checklist
- Visual Inspection: Check for corrosion or damage, loose wiring, and inspect fuel lines, exhaust, and enclosure (including weatherproofing/rodent protection).
- Engine Maintenance: Change oil and oil filter; replace/clean air filter; replace spark plugs if worn; inspect belts and hoses.
- Electrical System: Test battery voltage and load; clean terminals; tighten electrical connections; verify control panel operation and update firmware if needed.
- Fuel System: Verify supply (natural gas or propane); inspect regulators, valves, and piping for leaks or damage.
- Operational Testing: Perform manual start/run; test automatic transfer switch; simulate a power outage to confirm switchover and load handling; listen for abnormal noises/vibrations.
- Final Steps & Documentation: Reset maintenance reminders; document findings; provide repair recommendations.

15% off eligible services
Save 15% on qualifying heating, cooling and plumbing repairs and accessories, plus eligible new tanked water heaters. The 15% discount does not apply to the purchase or installation of new equipment or fixtures, with the exception of eligible tanked water heaters. Repair costs are separate from membership fees.
Credits toward qualifying installations
Apply 100% of eligible membership fees, up to a maximum of $1,000, toward:
- A complete furnace and air conditioning system replacement
- A complete water care system
- A generator installation
Replacement credits are subject to membership eligibility requirements and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.

Are both heating and air conditioning tune-ups included?
Yes. Membership includes an annual furnace tune-up and an annual air conditioning tune-up.
Are air filters included?
Annual maintenance includes replacement of up to one 1-inch air filter. Other filter sizes are available at a 15% member discount.
Can I put membership fees toward a new HVAC system?
Yes. Apply 100% of eligible membership fees, up to $1,000, toward a qualifying complete furnace and air conditioning system replacement. Credits also apply to qualifying complete water care systems and generator installations.
Can replacement credits be combined with other offers?
No. Replacement credits cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
Is humidifier or dehumidifier maintenance included?
No. Maintenance on indoor air quality equipment, including humidifiers and dehumidifiers, is excluded.
Can I enroll a rental property?
No. Membership is limited to residential, owner-occupied homes.
Does membership renew automatically?
Yes. Membership renews monthly and requires automatic payment by credit or debit card. A minimum one-year commitment applies before cancellation is permitted.
